CLUB NEWS

• Our annual Benefit Golf Tournament on July 30th, 2011 is fast approaching.  We need all the help and support we can get, please attend a meeting, send an email or call and let us know that you are interested in helping out.  We are currently forming our 2011 Golf Tournament Benefit Committee and plan to have our first scheduled meeting in June.  You do not have to attend meetings to help and contribute, there are many ways that members can contribute to the success of this event.  Email Jenny if you are interested.
• The EUPHC renewed their charter membership with PHIP, Inc in January 2011 and are happy to report that we are a Club in Good Standing with PHIP, Inc.  This allows us to purchase Jimmy Buffett club concert tickets, attend the MOTM Convention in Key West, Florida in November, and all the protection and guidance under the provisions and bylaws of PHIP, Inc.  We will keep you updated regarding any concert announcement in Vegas, our local area concert, or you can check Buffett News anytime for the currect tour dates.   Also, check out PHIP's page on MOTM for information regarding the annual national parrot head convention in November in Key West, FL.  You must be a member in good standing of the EUPHC to purchase club tickets to concerts and also to attend MOTM. 
• Monthly Business Meetings take place on the FIRST Wed of each month. The club recently decided that during the months of Sept to May, we will meet every other month, and during the summer, we will meet monthly or more often if necessary to plan the golf tournament.  We will keep a club calendar, there is a link on this website, to help keep you informed. 
• We are in the process of renenewing our annual dues for membership in the EUPHC Club, please send $30 per couple or $20 per individual along with a completed membership form to the club address ASAP to ensure your membership in good standing with our group.  You can renew at a business meeting, via email to jgagon@live.com or via mail to our club address.  We appreciate your ongoing support.  Look for membership application renewals on this website,  via email and/or mail, you can renew at any time.  Membership dues help the club's general ability to function, pay annual membership dues to PHIP, plan and host club parties, business costs like copies & mailings, web hosting, etc.  All costs for the annual Golf Tournament Benefit are seperate from the general membership fund and costs.  The club keeps monthly financials on both our general membership fund and our golf tournament fund, any member can inquire about our financials at any time, just contact Jenny, Club President, or Tom Ogden, Club Treasurer, or simply attend a planned business meeting.
