Eastern Utah Parrot Head Club

Club History

In May of 2006, the Eastern Utah Parrothead Club was chartered under Parrot Heads in Paradise, Inc.  Jenny Gagon, their president and founder, a long time fan of Jimmy Buffett had a strong desire to give back to Eastern Utah by celebrating her tropical spirit and bringing the "Party with a Purpose" attitude to this area.

Our one big event is our Benefit Golf Tournament that has found its place here in Carbon County.  Golfers and parrot heads look forward to it every summer.  It takes place the first Saturday in August at the Carbon Country Club and benefits individuals and groups here in our local community.

Who We Are

The Eastern Utah Parrot Heads:

• Meet the second Friday of the month for general business meetings/"Happy Hours".
• Host an annual Benefit Golf Tournament that raises money for individuals and organizations in our local community.
• Adopt a street in Price City which we clean at least twice a year.
• Get together for a summer party at one of our local lakes to camp, boat, bbq, and play.
• Host a Christmas Party for our members and bring in food and/or toys for local agencies.
• Travel to Vegas in October and live it up "Jimmy Buffett Style" for our once a year Jimmy fix.
• Support and party with phellow parrot heads at Phins to the West in Laughlin, NV in May.   
• Support and party with phellow parrot heads at Migration in Las Vegas, NV in July.
• Hope all the stars are aligned to phlock with our phellow parrot heads to Key West, FL for Meeting of the Minds in November.
